| Our actions as consumers have a direct impact on our planet and the lives of others. We believe that it's possible to be a responsible consumer by reducing what we buy and choosing products produced and distributed in the most sustainable manner possible. Everything we do is guided by these principals. |

We Sell Only Organic T-shirtsArtevist's goal is to sell only the most eco-friendly, sustainable, organic T-shirts available. That means finding fabrics that present an alternative to harmful cotton production and synthetics. We've begun with Organic Bamboo and Cotton, and invite you to read more on why these fabrics are so great for you and the planet.

We're Plastic-free — No PlastisolOur T-shirts are dyed NOT printed using the amazing REHANCE™ process developed by T.S. Designs™. The T-shirt graphic is achieved with a reactive, water-based dye and not PVC-based plastic inks (Plastisol). The result is an exceptionally durable image that doesn't flake or peel like plastic, has none of the hard feel, and it breathes and drapes beautifully. Best of all, it's far more gentle on the environment.

We Only Sell Sweatshop-free TeesAs all of our T-shirts are manufactured in North America, we avoid the issues associated with unethical labour practices in off-shore manufacture. As has become more apparent, it's very difficult to be sure of the source of imported goods. In contrast, we only deal with two U.S. manufacturers — T.S. Designs and Bamboosa™ — both comply fully with U.S. Government labour and workplace health and safety standards. |

We Have a Logo-free PhilosophyYou won't find any Artevist logo on the outside of our T-shirts. We just don't believe in buying (and therefore selling) things simply for their brand appeal. We do encourage artists to sign their work and think that's the only branding our Tees need. |

We Make Everything in the U.S.A.We believe that preferring locally produced products reduces our dependency on fossil fuels and builds healthy communities. Since most of our customers are in the U.S. and Canada, we're committed to sourcing everything in North America. Our Bamboo Tees are made in S. Carolina by Bamboosa from certified Organic Bamboo yarn imported from managed plantations in China. Our 100% Organic Cotton Tees are made in N. Carolina by T.S. Designs from U.S. grown cotton. They also print all of our Tees using their amazing REHANCE dye process. |

We Only Sell Limited Edition DesignsWe initially print about 250 T-shirts of each design and in total we won't produce more than 500, so that makes every Artevist T-shirt a limited edition. Chances are pretty good that you'll never see another. |

We Pay Artists FairlyWhen you buy an Artevist Tee, you're supporting the work of concerned artists. We pay artists fairly for their creativity with a US $700 fee for the exclusive right to use their design for 2 years, plus 7% of every T-shirt we sell goes to the artist that created it. |

We Pay the Planet BackArtevist works with 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of sales to global, nonprofit organizations involved in environmental causes — that means 1% of every T-shirt you buy. Our members will decide how this money is distributed through a yearly survey. Please visit the 1% for the Planet website for more information. |
